Opportunities for Artists
ACCESS/PRINT Project—A printmaking program for high school students.
The program is open to students on grades 10–12 and four students will be selected for each session. The 10 week program will be held in spring and fall of 2008. Participants will work with professional artist mentors to develop printmaking skills and produce a series of prints that will be displayed in Highpoint’s gallery. This is an exciting opportunity to reach motivated young artists and nurture their artistic strengths in a rigorous professional setting. click here.
Jerome Residency
An Emerging Printmakers Residency, funded by the Jerome Foundation, is open to artists with previous printmaking experience, who are residents of Minnesota and are not currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. Three selected artists will have extended, independent access to Highpoint’s studio facilities and printmaking equipment, culminating in an exhibition of works created during the residency.
