Please join us to celebrate the culminating exhibition of our 2011 – 2012 Jerome Emerging Printmakers: Gwen Commings, Graham Judd, and Jonathan McFadden. With the generous support of the Jerome Foundation, the artists were provided 9 months access to Highpoint's printmaking facilities as well as critiques with local artists and curators. The exhibition features screenprints, woodcuts, blind-embossings, and print installation work created at Highpoint during the artists' residency.

Narratives of Home & Farewell

This exhibition of ten 'footprints', named after their square foot format, are autobiographical narratives that leave imprints along they way of my life. My prints are visual diaries that narrate my physical, emotional and psychological experiences of living in four different countries and cultures (Paraguay, Germany, Canada & USA). This series of prints explores concepts of home and belonging, farewell & new beginnings, holding on and letting go.
Highpoint Center for Printmaking Announces Exhibition

Highpoint Editions – Decade One

Highpoint Center for Printmaking is very proud to announce the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) will be hosting an exhibition of prints created during Highpoint’s first ten years (2001 – 2011). The show, Highpoint Editions – Decade One, will open on Saturday September 24 at the MIA and run through June 10, 2012. Thomas Rassieur, the John E. Andrus III Curator of Prints and Drawings at MIA, will curate the exhibition.

Polyester Plate Lithography
- Instructors: Zac Adams-Bliss & Megan Anderson
- Dates: June 1 – 3
Learn lithographic drawing techniques, inking procedures, multicolor registration, and how to pull a lithograph on an etching press. This process is suitable for both seasoned printmakers and beginners.

Highpoint Center for Printmaking and the Bakken Museum, Lake Street Luminary Promenade

Highpoint Center for Printmaking & the Bakken Museum present the “Lake Street Luminary Promenade.” Construct your own magnetic lightning bugs and hand-printed paper lanterns to create a luminary promenade on Lake Street and glowing night scene in Highpoint's rain garden. Before venturing on into the night, enjoy live music and wood-fired pizza, and be sure to take in the 2011 – 2012 Jerome Residency Exhibition in Highpoint’s gallery.
