Lisa Nankivil lives and works in Minneapolis. She received a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In 2004 she was awarded the Jerome Foundation’s Fellowship for Emerging Artists. She has had solo exhibitions at Thomas McCormick Gallery in Chicago and the Winona Arts Center in Winona, MN. Nankivil has participated in group shows at Gerald Peters Gallery, Santa Fe; the Hong Kong Discovery Center, Hong Kong; Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Minneapolis; MCAD Gallery, Minneapolis; and the Soap Factory, Minneapolis. Her work is included in the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum’s collection in Minneapolis as well as numerous corporate and private collections in cities such as Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Nankivil is represented by Thomas McCormick Gallery in Chicago.
