Todd Norsten lives and works in Minneapolis. He has a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Norsten received an Ellen Boetel Steckle Fellowship in 1989, a Jerome Foundation Fellowship in 1995 and a McKnight Visual Arts Fellowship in 1998. He has had solo exhibitions at Tinderbox Contemporary Art, Hamburg, Germany; Cohan and Leslie, New York, NY; Arario Gallery, Seoul, Korea; Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis, MN; Franklin Art Works, Minneapolis, MN; and Weinstein Gallery, Minneapolis, MN. He has participated in groups shows at Blondeau Fine Art, Geneva, Swizerland; Larissa Goldston, New York, NY; the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MN; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; and International Print Center New York, New York, NY. Norsten’s work has been placed in the collections of the British Museum, the Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
