The Vision The Printshop Cooperative
“What I found is a facility to die for (the best equipment immaculately maintained), a friendly master printer willing to help and coach, teaching and classroom presentations by highly qualified, experienced teachers, a place to display my latest prints twice a year and a community of awesome printmakers … every one willing to advise and share their experience. Is this printmakers heaven or what?”

Funds from the HP2 capital campaign will:
- Enable the Printshop Cooperative to grow to 50 artist members;
- Expand access to printshop facilities from 9 a.m to midnight, seven days/week;
- Provide greatly improved exhibition space for group shows.
Highpoint’s Printshop Cooperative has served over 110 artists since 2001. The Cooperative is made up of a diverse group of 35 artists who represent different career stages and artistic interests. As Cooperative members, artists gain access to HP’s fully equipped, state-of-the-art printmaking facility, receive discounts on HP classes, and benefit from mutual feedback and support, encouraging individual artistic growth and a sense of community. HP advances the work of these artists by offering them the opportunity to participate in biannual gallery exhibits where work is seen by a broad public and sold.
