Zac Adams-Bliss, 

Lead Printer

Zac Adams-Bliss in the Lead Printer at Highpoint Editions. In his role at Highpoint Editions, he collaborates with local, national, and international artists to publish limited editions of their artwork. This includes all stages of proofing and editioning of prints such as pre-press preparation, color-matching, printing, and finalization of prints. He spends time outside work with family, friends, neighbors, and pets. He enjoys archery and spends a lot of time in his vegetable garden during the warmer months. 

 

Nancy Ariza, 

Artist Education Programs Manager

Nancy Ariza, Artist Education Programs Manager, co-leads Highpoint’s youth and adult education programming, facilitates the ACCESS/PRINT Teen Mentorship Program, and runs the new BIPOC teaching program, Teaching Artist Learning Community. Nancy brings over ten years of experience developing and leading community-based arts programming and takes a relationship-centered approach to work. When she’s not working, Nancy likes to travel, go on picnics, and spend time with her two miniature dachshunds, Buster and Maeby, and two cats, Mikey and Pepper Ann.

 

Josh Bindewald,

Director of Artist Programs

Josh joined the Highpoint team in 2012. As Highpoint has grown and evolved, so has his role within the organization. HE coordinates HP’s artist programs including the McKnight Printmaking Fellowship, the Jerome Early Career Printmakers Residency, The Full Color Print Program, and the artists’ cooperative printshop. He oversees logistics, the Studio Internship program, is part of the exhibition planning team, and helps take care of HP’s facilities. Outside of HP, Josh’s interests vary widely. Topping the list would be dogs, followed in no particular order by gardening, the outdoors, the NFL, golf, music, movies, memes, podcasts, and of course making things. Alex Blaisdell, Gallery Director

As Gallery Director, Alex manages the inventory, and client relations, and oversees sales of Highpoint Editions’ artwork. Alex works directly with museums, private collectors, and institutions to place and promote the artist’s work from initial inquiry to installation. In addition, Alex also assists with guest-curated and international exhibitions at Highpoint. Alex is an animal lover and enjoys traveling, and movies.

 

Jenny Burwell, Development and Communications Manager

As the Development and Communications Manager at Highpoint, Jenny coordinates all marketing, press, design, newsletters, and Presstime magazine publications. She also manages Highpoint’s development strategy, grants, membership campaigns, and donor relations. Jenny works to expand Highpoint’s visibility and mission through public engagement and creating funding opportunities for artist programs. Outside of Highpoint, Jenny enjoys learning about obscure topics, drawing, photography, hiking, and spending time with family. 

 

Jehra Patrick, Executive Director

Jehra Patrick is the Executive Director of Highpoint Center for Printmaking. Jehra focuses on the vision and mission of Highpoint to create stronger relationships and engaging opportunities for participants on all levels. Jehra oversees operations, finances, board and staff relations, and strategic planning for the organization. Jehra Patrick is an accomplished arts leader with a record of creating valuable systems of support for artists and innovative public programming. Her experience includes founding arts organizations, guiding strategic transitions, fundraising, managing teams, creating educational programs for all ages, and building advocacy for the arts through boards and committees. 

Jehra has a background as a studio artist and enjoys making work with her young daughter. While not at Highpoint, she’s often spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and seeing art.

 

Edson Rosas, Administrative Coordinator

Edson Rosas is Highpoint’s Administrative Coordinator, assisting with daily operations, directing calls and inquiries, quickbooks, supporting staff, and greeting guests. Edson has an MFA in Printmaking from Pacific Northwest College in Portland. He was most recently an admissions counselor for MCAD, gained tech wizard skills while working at Apple, and lives by ‘zero in-box(!!).’ Edson is also a visual artist, writes haiku, is an avid sewer, and loves dog-sitting.

 

Anda Tanaka, Apprentice Printer

As Apprentice Printer, Anda assists and learns from the Master and Senior printers in their work for Highpoint Editions. Her responsibilities include preparing papers and inks, supporting visiting artists, and helping with the printing and finalization of prints. Anda is also a practicing artist and art educator, working out of a home studio and teaching printmaking courses at both Highpoint and Minneapolis College of Art and Design. When not in the studio, you can find Anda outside cycling, cross-country skiing, open water swimming, or walking her cat, Triskit.
