Highpoint Center for Printmaking provides dynamic, hands-on educational experiences for artists and learners of all ages and backgrounds. Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, and individuals, our programs introduce printmaking as an accessible and collaborative art form while supporting creative growth at every level.

For adults, we offer a wide range of workshops led by skilled teaching artists, from beginner-friendly introductions to advanced technique-based classes, critique sessions, and specialty experiences. In addition, private instruction is available for individuals seeking more personalized, one-on-one guidance in developing their printmaking practice.

Our K–12 field trips offer engaging, customized workshops that introduce students to a variety of printmaking techniques. Each visit includes a guided tour of our galleries, professional instruction, and the opportunity to create original prints to take home. These experiences are designed to meet diverse learning needs, with many programs offered at low or no cost for qualifying schools.

Our summer camps give young artists the opportunity to dive deeper into printmaking through multi-day, immersive experiences that foster creativity, experimentation, and confidence in the studio.

Our private events are perfect for birthdays, team-building events, special occasions, or any group looking for a unique, hands-on experience. These workshops combine collaborative learning with studio access, allowing groups to explore printmaking together while creating their own work.

Free Ink Day events invite families and community members of all ages to drop in, learn new techniques, and create prints in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

We also offer group tours of our facilities, including our galleries and printshop, providing insight into contemporary printmaking practices, exhibitions, and Highpoint’s role in the artistic community.

With a fully equipped classroom, professional printshop, and a supportive, inclusive atmosphere, Highpoint is a place where artists, students, and community members come together to learn, create, and thrive.
