Recent Work by MN Faculty

Highpoint Center for Printmaking proudly announces PRINT PROFS, an invitational group show that features a varied collection of works made by 17 printmaking faculty members from 14 Minnesota colleges and universities. The exhibition includes works made within the scope of traditional printmaking, but also branches out to include artists' books, mixed media panels, and several sculptural objects.
Exhibitions of college students' work are commonplace, as are faculty shows from within a particular school. Exhibitions like PRINT PROFS, however, which collectively showcase the work of printmaking faculty statewide, are unusual. The wealth of printmaking faculty in Minnesota, combined with Highpoint's symbiotic relationship with higher education institutions, has provided a compelling foundation for this unique exhibition.

Co-curated by Cole Rogers, HP’s Artistic Director and Master Printer; Zoe Snow Adler, Gallery Director, and Dennis Michael Jon, Associate Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the result is a wonderfully varied collection of work.
