Carter
Carter (b. 1970) is an American artist and film director based in New York City. Carter is best known for artwork that spans various media, from painting and photography to sculptural installations, film and video. His work is characterized by an elusive quality, questioning conventional ideas about portraiture, identity, and social conventions. His works have been exhibited internationally, including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, Museum of Modern Art, New York, Tate Modern, London, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Carter is represented by Georg Kargl Gallery.
The ALL IN exhibition will be on view in Highpoint’s main gallery and print study room following the ALL IN event on Saturday, November 16.
Highpoint Editions work is being showcased at the University of Wyoming Art Museum during the Mid America Print Council.
