Free Ink Day: Water Soluble Monotype Printing!
October 11, 12–4 PM at Highpoint

Join us for a fun and free afternoon of printmaking at Highpoint! Drop in anytime between 12–4pm and dive into the colorful world of water-soluble monotype prints.

What’s a water-soluble monotype? It’s a printmaking technique that’s as close to painting and drawing as you can get! You’ll use water-soluble crayons to draw on a clear plexiglass plate and then run it through our etching press with damp paper to result in a vibrant impression.

This event is free and open to all ages and experience levels. Materials are provided, and volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the process.

Parking: Enter by walking through HP’s Lake Street entrance or by the driveway off Colfax. Street parking is available, or visitors are encouraged to bike, walk, or take public transit. The event will take place in HP’s parking lot.

We are looking for Volunteers. Are you interested in helping visitors engage in a free creative outdoor printmaking activity and gaining experience working with an arts nonprofit? Apply below:
