This is a free event held in Highpoint Center for Printmaking’s classroom.
To our community,
We want to take a moment to express our deep empathy and solidarity with you, and to everyone in Minneapolis who has been impacted by the ongoing ICE-related conflicts and tragedies. We recognize the toll this situation is taking on our city, and we stand with you.
We know that arts organizations like ours play a vital role in providing space for people to gather, create, and work in community; we have decided to remain open to support our artist community and continue to be a place for connection and expression.
In that spirit, we are opening our classroom studio as a space for creation, healing, and collective support on Monday, January 12 from 1-4 pm. We invite artists and neighbors of all backgrounds to use this time and space however you need—we will have artmaking supplies available. This is not a formal program, but an open offering. You are welcome here, with your full self and whatever you carry.
