This is a free event held in Highpoint Center for Printmaking’s classroom.
To our community,
We want to take a moment to express our deep empathy and solidarity with you, and to everyone in Minneapolis who has been impacted by the ongoing ICE-related conflicts and tragedies. We recognize the toll this situation is taking on our city, and we stand with you.
We know that arts organizations like ours play a vital role in providing space for people to gather, create, and work in community.
In that spirit, we are opening our classroom studio as a space for creation, healing, and collective support on Thursday, January 29 from 1-4 pm. We invite artists and neighbors of all backgrounds to use this time and space however you need. We will have artmaking supplies available— you are also welcome to bring your own supplies or project. This is not a formal program, but an open offering. You are welcome here, with your full self and whatever you carry.
