Highpoint Artists' Cooperative
The Highpoint Artists' Cooperative is accepting applications for new members. HP’s co-op artists are provided key card access to a fully-equipped printmaking facility where they can independently work in the space between 8 am-midnight, seven days a week.
Some benefits of membership include the opportunity to show work in our semi-annual co-op exhibitions (main gallery) or through a solo show in our Threshold Gallery and 25% off all adult classes and workshops. The communal print shop atmosphere fosters creative practice, new relationships, knowledge sharing amongst printers, and the chance to be part of this unique organization.

Membership options
Co-op Membership – $200/month
For all members on three- or six-month contracts and members continuing month-to-month immediately after completing a contract.
Project Membership – $275/month
For former members returning to Highpoint for a specific project lasting fewer than three consecutive months.
Access Membership – $150/month
Available to current students, artists within five years of completing an academic program, and BIPOC artists.
Joining the Co-op
Co-op members work at Highpoint on an independent basis to produce their own prints and therefore must be at least 18 years of age or older. The co-op at Highpoint is designed specifically for individuals who have demonstrated an appropriate level of experience in printmaking and are granted access to work in one or more printmaking techniques, including relief, lithography, intaglio, monotype, and screenprinting, etc. While not all new members have extensive experience in their chosen medium, we do require that they have the ability to use the facilities correctly, independently, safely, and with consideration for other members.
Prospective members provide the Director of Artist Programs with examples of the print technique(s) that they wish to practice in the studio. These examples may be shown in-person or digitally. New members must complete a thorough studio and safety orientation before being gaining access to the studio.
